My family... means the world to me (and that doesn't mean that they shut off the world and the only thing I know of it is them).

Most people have more fights with their parents when they hit their teens. Most people have fallings-out with their parents around that time. Most people do not realize what great people their parents were until they are grown or until their parents die.

I don't have to wait. I know already.

Things I Love About My Mum

1) My mum has been there my whole life.
2) She has always watched out for me and always looked out for my best interest (even if I didn't like it at the time, I always realized after that it was indeed for the best).
3) She is never mad when I don't pass a test because she knows that I am.
4) She knows that I punish myself for my faults better than she ever can.
5) She knows this because she knows me like the back of her hand.
6) She always asks me what's wrong when I look upset.
7) She knows when I look upset.
8) She remembers when I was a kid.
9) When I don't.
10) Which is not always an altogether good thing.
11) She has the most amazing memory when it comes to songs.
12) I got that from her.
13) She has the coolest shade of skin.
14) She doesn't rub it in my face.
15) She has black hair naturally.
16) She won't let me dye my hair black.
17) I'm pretty sure sometimes that this is a good thing.
18) She won't let me get my ears pierced.
19) I dont' blame her.
20) She's the most awesome chef I've ever known.
21) She teaches me.
22) She's calm in a stressful situation.
23) When I'm not.
24) She's scared to death of moths.
25) I don't blame her.
26) She has this phobia of eyes.
27) She probably won't like that piece of information public.
28) She's a Tiger.
29) And she still gets along with me.
30) Even though I'm a Snake.
31) She loves true crime books.
32) She doesn't force me to read them.
33) She used to let me stay up late watching true crime shows with her.
34) She would always come into my room after watching said shows to make sure no murderers were hiding in the shadows.
35) She listens to me when I speak.
36) Even when I'm speaking about nothing.
37) She always talks back when I talk to her.
38) She listens to me talking about my dreams.
39) Even if they're strange.
40) And she doesn't send me to an insane asylum.
41) She can spell.
42) Better than I can.
43) I got the ability from her.
44) She can read more than a book a day.
45) She doesn't make fun of me for reading slow.
46) She's interested in some of the same books I am.
47) I have her sense of humor.
48) I like the same kind of movies.
49) When we watch movies without the other around, we rate it and if it's good, we tell the other to watch it.
50) And stay with them the whole time they're watching it.

Things I love About My Dad

1) My dad adopted me when I was 13.
2) He never punishes using his hands.
3) And his words don't sting.
4) He used to be a DJ
5) He gave it up to be with us.
6) He hates sukatash.
7) He thinks that peas and carrots mixed together make parrots.
8) He has names for what any kind of vegetable mixed with any other kind of vegetable.
9) He loves Sid and Marty Kroft.
10) He loves zombie movies.
11) He loves playing games with me and my little brother.
12) He gets really hurt when someone thinks he looks scary.
13) Or like a girl.
14) He hates having his hair cut.
15) He hates Wal Mart... but still shops there because he knows we need to.
16) He doesn't think I'm insane... he knows I'm insane.
17) He doesn't care.
18) He's always trying to get me more into 80's goth music.
19) He is goth.
20) He loves my mum.
21) He loves me and my brother.
22) He loves red mountain dew.
23) He's funny.
24) He loves Bottlecaps.
25) He loves pizza.
26) He loves jerky.
27) He wishes he'd seen us grow up from being little kids.
28) He taught us how to play Lunch Money.
29) He can't be beat at wrestling.
30) He loves science fiction.
31) He loves anything involving vampires.
32) So do I.
33) He writes reviews for the site.
34) He can't spell very well.
35) He's a math genius.
36) He's met lots of famous people.
37) It doesn't go to his head.
38) He knows Furby language.
39) He can talk in Furby.
40) And not just to a Furby.
41) He brought a furry cat fluffball into the family.
42) The cat is messed up in the head.
43) We love it anyway.
44) He hates having his food messed with.
45) He hates any of his food touching.
46) He will fix it if it is touching.
47) He loves Speed Racer.
48) That's not necessarily a good thing.
49) He was shocked when my mum suggested that Speed Racer might not be all that straight.
50) He's still in shock.

Things I Love About My Brother

1) He still talks to me.
2) He tries to talk to me.
3) He gets hurt when I don't talk back.
4) Or I'm not quick enough.
5) He's always trying to make you happy.
6) Even if he doesn't know who you are.
7) He's a smart kid.
8) He knows more about science, I bet, than my science teacher.
9) He loves knowing that he does.
10) He has scars on his face from when he was three or four.
11) And he doesn't blame me for them.
12) He thinks it's funny that I used to try to kill him.
13) He used to tear off the heads of my barbies.
14) And throw them into the washer.
15) He twisted one of my toy dolls to make them sound demented.
16) He loves leaving carrots out for the reindeer.
17) He doesn't try to get into drugs.
18) Even though he probably could.
19) He loves popcorn.
20) He understands that I hate it.
21) He tries to disguise the smell when he eats it in the same room.
22) He loves watching movies with me.
23) He doesn't care what the movie is.
24) He likes soppy movies.
25) When he was little, he used to sing "I'm a Sweet Transexual" at the top of his lungs.
26) He still likes singing it at the top of his lungs.
27) He can memorize anything.
28) He has every word to every movie he's every loved and watched memorized.
29) He can do that.
30) He's tall.
31) He's not mean.
32) Or scary.
33) Once, we went on a hike with some of our mutual friends and he led the way.
34) Whilst I cowered behind.
35) Because he's not afraid of heights.
36) And I am.
37) He's scared stiff of roller coasters.
38) But he attempts them because he knows I love them.
39) He once got violently ill riding The Spider.
40) He likes cooking.
41) He loves writing.
42) We used to watch Rugrats when we were little.
43) We still watch it sometimes.
44) We both still think the original was better.
45) He loves reading.
46) He sleepwalks.
47) He talks in his sleep.
48) You could misstake him for being awake.
49) He loves ice cream.
50) He's convinced that he's from another time and is here via time machine.
